COWBOY BENEFIT RAFFLE
Each year since 2001, SHOOT! Magazine has held a year long benefit raffle for one, and sometimes two, CAS shooters who are dealing with physical and financial problems above and beyond the norm.
This year, Wes Flowers, aka "West Fargo", will be one of the beneficiaries of our 7th Annual Cowboy Benefit Raffle. Wes is an old and dear friend of SHOOT! Magazine and we want to let him know he is constantly in our thoughts and prayers.
The other beneficiary is William Asevica of Prospect, CT. William has been a proud supporter of the Cowboy Benefit Raffle for a number of years and won the 2006 raffle. Unfortunately, he hurt his back and has been out of work for the last eight months. He is experiencing significant financial problems and is in the processing of selling his 2006 raffle gun and rig.
This year's Grand Prize is a 1858 Remington replica donated by Cowboy Gun Parts (VTI) with a .45 Colt Kirst Conversion cylinder fitted by Kirst & Strite, complete action job, frame heat treated and color cased with a 19th century blue finish with a Kirst Remington Mason-style ejector assembly also provided by Kirst & Strite and fully engraved by DR Engraving. In addition, the winner will also receive a carved gunrig and knife sheath in the 1860-1870 style by Shasta Leatherworks and a beautiful custom knife by Bromley Knives.
Tickets are just $10 each, 6 for $50, and 13 for $100. Buy your tickets now at Shoot! Mercantile! Proceeds will be disbursed to the beneficiaries on an ongoing basis as the funds come in.
